Popular film and TV actress Rekha Mohan was found dead in her apartment on Saturday, said police.The 45-year-old actress shared screen space with leading actors like Mammootty (in Udyanapalakan) and Mohanlal (in Yathramozhi) besides acting in popular TV serials.Speaking to IANS, an official of the Viyyur police station said that her body was found in her rented flat.”Her husband works abroad and following no response from her, the flat was opened by us and we found her body. Sony Music has said sorry to pop star Britney Spears, after an official Twitter account suggested the pop star had died.

The entertainment firm quickly removed the hoax tweets, saying its global account had been "compromised" but that the situation had "been rectified".

Sony added it "apologises to Britney Spears and her fans for any confusion".

The 35-year-old did not react directly to the tweet, but her manager confirmed the singer was "fine and well".

The magazine wrote that at number two, Trump, who takes over the US presidency in a little more than a month, "has a seeming immunity to scandal, both houses of Congress on his side, and a personal net worth in the billions."

Trump, who was elected US president last month, was listed 72nd in Forbes' 2015 power rankings.

Third place this year went to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has been at the helm of Europe's economic powerhouse for 11 years and announced plans to run for reelection next year.

Barack Obama, who placed second in 2015, plummeted to 48th place this year as he waits out the final weeks of his presidency, with his Democratic Party ousted from the White House after Trump's shock election win and out of power in Congress.

Fourth place went to China's President Xi Jinping, while the fifth spot on the list went to Pope Francis.

Forbes said it assesses the influence of "hundreds of candidates from various walks of life all around the globe" as it compiles its annual list, which this year has on it 74 powerful movers and shakers.

The first national conference of Menopause Society of Nepal convened here today. Inaugurating the conference, Health Minister Gagan Thapa said the government is seriously working to ensure people’s access to basic health facilities. Public awareness on menopause and its impact on physical condition would help prevent further health complications on women in the menopause period, he asserted. Women reaching the menopause phase should be aware of their bodily changes to be caused by this to avoid further health complications and live a healthy life, the participants of the conference said. Over 300 gynecologists attended the conference.

Jaya Bhaduri, the actress was also his batchmate at the institute gave him the simpler name of ‘Danny’ as ‘Tshering Phintso Denzongpa’ was a tough name to pronounce for all the other students of his batch.
